About Me
Hello! I’m Katie, a sleep consultant with a background in paediatric nursing.
I have over 10 years experience working as a children’s nurse in a variety of settings. The majority of my nursing career has been working in a specialist London children’s hospital where I cared for acutely unwell children in the intensive care unit. I also have experience in the community assessing children referred by GPs after acute illness.
I have spent time working on a neonatal unit, caring for premature babies and supporting their families. I therefore appreciate how the newborn stage is different for everyone and has many challenges. I can help support you through your breastfeeding journey with my knowledge in this area, incorporating this into a tailored sleep plan for your little one if appropriate.
“With my breadth of nursing knowledge and confidence in caring for little ones, coupled with my sleep knowledge and expertise, I create sleep plans that work.”
Why Choose Me?
10 years experience as a professional
With 10 years experience caring for not only unwell children, but supporting their families through often the toughest time in their lives, I take pride in the level of empathy and support that I offer.
As a professional, I will not cast any judgements and will support you the whole way, whatever your background, beliefs or goals for your child’s sleep.
Sleep plans exclusively for children discharged from hospital
Knowing exactly what it is like in hospital, means I am able to successfully improve the sleep of children who have recently been discharged home. Often a stay in hospital negatively affects children’s sleep habits so guidance is needed to support any fears or anxieties that have developed. Get in touch for more information.

Competitive pricing and level of support
I provide expert knowledge and advice for a reasonable fee. With my extensive background in children’s nursing, you can trust that I am competent at supporting you through the journey to healthier sleep. My Training
With a Degree in Child Nursing (BSc), I have a solid foundation on not only the health of children, but also their development at each age.
Alongside being a sleep practitioner, I also continue to actively work as a paediatric nurse caring for complex medical conditions in the community. Through which I still learn new skills and knowledge every day, a part of nursing that I love.
I am a Level 5 certified sleep practitioner gaining a distinction in the course that I completed. This empowered me with great knowledge on sleep physiology, diagnosing sleep problems and supporting families through a challenging time. This course provided me with many tools that when combined with my nursing knowledge, allows me to successfully support your child’s sleep needs.
