My technique is very much centred around you as a family. Working with you and supporting you to implement the techniques that you are happy with. At the end of the day, you are the one who is going to be carrying out this routine and technique so it has to feel right for you.
I am sure you have heard of the cry-it-out method; letting your baby or child cry in their room alone until they fall asleep. I believe this to be non-conducive to supporting a healthy emotional well-being and so rest assured I will not be using this technique. Crying is OK to witness in children, it is their way of telling us something is wrong. However, the key here is responding to this need.
